Case Study: Mr Tidwell: Mr. Tidwell has lived with his daughter after having suffered a stroke 5 years ago. His daughter is now experiencing her own health problems and is no longer able to meet all of his daily needs.

Extracare currently employs staff throughout the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and adjoining areas. When a vacancy occurs it is usually advertised in the local newspaper designating the area where applicants should live. Owing to the short term nature of most of the services we provide we generally employ staff who live close to where services are needed. This avoids unnecessary travel if an employee’s hours reduce.
