How to Access Services
We are happy to assist our clients while they continue to enjoy the familiar surroundings of their own homes and families.
Simple access to home care, all you have to do is call us
Our easy access to home care will give you the confidence you need to make the call for assistance. It’s not always possible to know exactly what types of service you might need, but if you give us a call we can advise you of the right process to access services
Step 1: What Kind of Home Care do You Need?
Have you given some thought to the services you might need. You are in control of the type of home care that you wish to receive. You can choose from our list of outstanding home care services,(please note this will have to be included into your funding through My Aged Care and or NDIS):
- Domestic Assistance
- Food Shopping
- Meal Assistance
- House cleaning
- Personal Care
- Respite Care
- Medication Monitoring
- Social Support
- Transport
As an Extracare client, you are free to combine our various services in one visit. For example: Shower, meal assistance, house cleaning.
Step 2: Contact Extracare
Once you decide upon the types of services you would like Extracare to provide from your package, just give us a call. If you prefer, you may email your request and we will either answer your request by email or phone you.
Our Service Manager will discuss your requirements and provide helpful advice on any other concerns you may have.
Step 3: Extracare will then work together with you and your nominated organisation.
After the initial contact with ExtraCare and required forms are completed, we will be working in the background organizing services.
After your home care services are assessed and scheduled, our Service Manager will confirm with either yourself or your funding organisation.
Home Care Services Payment Schedule
Invoices for services will be at the start of every month and issued to your nominated financial payment method.
Home Care Visit Cancellations
We understand that sometimes events happen that are out of your control. In that case, just give us a call. We can cancel a scheduled home care visit without cost as long as we have prior notice. You won’t be charged for the visit as long we receive notification of your cancellation at least one business day prior to your scheduled home care date.
